How it works

Interested in making an enquiry? Here’s how it will work…

  1. You contact me. I will aim to respond to you within 24 hours (during the working week) to set up the first consultation. This can be by email, telephone or text message if that suits. If you have not heard from me within 3 days, I would ask that you call me to ensure the message has indeed been received.
  2. We can speak over the telephone for free for no more than 10 minutes. This is general, generic advice on the process in general, and how things work with a specialist family solicitor acting on your behalf.
  3. We set up a fixed fee appointment at a cost of £150 inclusive of VAT. The fixed fee meeting normally takes an hour or so, and will be your opportunity to ask as many questions as you like. This will usually be a Zoom meeting. I will ask you to provide me with two forms of identification, as well as payment, in advance of the meeting.
  4. You may decide to stop after step 2 or 3. However, you may be one of the many cases where further, detailed advice and/ or representation is needed. Step 4, then, is me formally acting as your solicitor. I can send and receive letters on your behalf, instruct a barrister, prepare for court, and give you as much detailed family law advice as you require.

Due to demand, I aim to conduct all meetings electronically. My preferred platform is Zoom, but others can be used by arrangement.

So do get in touch, and I look forward to helping you with your family law problem.
