Will my adultery have an impact on the financial aspects of my case?

The short answer is no. Adultery is not regarded by the court as conduct that should have a bearing on any finances. Conduct is only considered by the court if it would be inequitable to disregard. For instance, if one party frittered away the life savings accrued during the marriage on sex, drugs and rock and roll; this conduct would be looked at when assessing the parties’ finances as it would have a significant impact on the available assets for distribution
