Do I need to submit anything with the divorce petition?
When you file the divorce petition with the court you will need to provide your original marriage certificate, or a certified copy of the original.
There is also a court fee of £550 to pay.
Sometimes, fee exemptions apply. You can apply for help with fees using form EX160 which can be found on the gov.co.uk website.
